Derek Bryan Moar

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Beloved Son, Father, Brother Husband , Grandfather, Uncle and Cousin Derek Bryan Moar on September 15, 2021.
Derek is predeceased by his Father Frederick Moar. Derek leaves behind his Mother’s Helen and Aurillia Moar, his children Dawson, Victor and Storm, wife Naomi, siblings Bela, Colleen, Karen, Ashley Moar, Gary and Neil Moar, Kyle and Jason Moar along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins to mourn his passing. Derek was born on December 30, 1975. He was only 45 years old, just shy of his 46th. He was an avid hunter that loved to spend many nights on the lake and bush calling moose. He loved his family and would do anything that needed his attention. He was a great fisherman that spent hours on the lake no matter the weather and also skilled plumber and enjoyed working and being outdoors. He loved working with his hands fixing or building, and was a perfectionist and did his best at everything he did. Derek will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him, especially that big awesome smile and laughter. Wake Service will be held on Monday & Tuesday, September 20-21, 2021 from the Watchman church 758 Selkirk Ave from 7-11 p.m. each evening. Funeral Service will be held in Little Grand Rapids on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 with Pastor Blanche Eaglestick officiating. Interment will be outside the family residence.
