Gerald Robert Cook (Mugs)

February 22, 1961 – February 25, 2023

It is with great sadness the family of Robert Cook announce his sudden passing on Saturday February 25, 2023 at the age of 62 years. Robert leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 25 years Linda. Rob met Linda in 1998 and they started a life together and in 2011 they purchased their home and built many memories together. Robert was very much into sports. Robert was always planning a game time and would always be cheering for the Jets and Bombers all season long as he would cook while planning for the games. Robert had an obsession with the sky with his telescope checking out the evening stars. Rob was a long haul trucker driver for many years and he has been in every US state and all over Canada. In 2004 Rob decided to stay put and drive truck in the city.

Wake Services will be held on Monday and Tuesday March 6-7th from Cross Lake United Church. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday March 8, 2023 from Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church Cross Lake with Fr. Joe officiating. Interment to follow in Cross Lake Cemetery.
