Louise Wilfreda Hourie

It is with great sadness we the family announce the passing of our Mother Louise Hourie. Sadly on June 24, 2023 Louise passed away at Riverview Health Center surrounded by her family. Louise was predeceased by her husband Reuben Hourie; Mother, Dorothy Gautier; Father Wilfred Desjarlais and Sister, Linda Desjarlais. Louise will forever be remembered by her Daughters, Barbie (Alvin), Debbie (Jonathan), Linda (Robert), Roberta, Lisa (Kevin) and several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Louise was a Wife, Mother Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Auntie, Cousin and Friend. Louise will always be remembered as a jolly take no crap kind of woman as she would tell you like it is. Pallbearers will be Robert Sanderson, Tylor Sanderson, Nick Flett, Brett Flett, Gene Hourie, Kevin Gladue. A Celebration of Louise's life will be held on Friday, June 30,2023 at Emmanuel United Church 755 Golspie St, Winnipeg, MB from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a private family viewing from 9-11 am. with Tom Novak officiating. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery.
